About the Course

ØHaematology is the study of blood, its formation, composition, functions and diseases.

ØHaematologylaboratories perform a wide range of tests of the composition and function of the blood that assist the clinician in the diagnosis and management of disease.

ØThe instruments in haematology labs are Microscope, Centrifuge, Incubator, Colorimeterand Water Bath.

ØThese course will enhance the knowledge of students about the principle, instrumentation, applications, care and maintenance of different instruments used in haematology lab.
