About the Course

Course Description

The need to expedite the design and manufacture of production tooling to meet the demand for a fast response to product changes is discussed. A library of standard tooling components for use in the design of Product design for sand casting: Design of gating system is described and its mode of operation from within a Forging design Allowances. Plans for the future development of a generative jig and fixture design system are presented. 

Objectives 

1.Will familiarize about Product Design for Sand Casting

2.Will demonstrate the Forging design and sheet metal working

3.Will develop knowledge in Design of jigs and fixtures, tools, limit gauges and process planning

Prerequisite

There is no particular prerequisite to learn Product Design and Production Tooling, you will be able to do very well, if you have these basic skills:
