What is uLektz?
uLektz is a first of its kind BYOD and offline access supported cloud-based operating system exclusively for higher education.
What problem does uLektz addresses?
It aims to address the problem of underemployment and unemployment of fresh graduates in India by providing a wide range of proprietary and third-party partner apps and resources for education, employability and employment to higher education students.
How does uLektz work?
By using Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, uLektz profiles students to offer them most appropriate resources and services specific to their academics, interests, needs and demographics on subscription-based freemium business model.
Whom do uLektz offers its solutions?
Currently, uLektz offers solutions for (1) Higher Education Students (2) Colleges and Universities, and (3) Higher Education Publishers.
How can I signup or register with uLektz?
You can register with uLektz using your Mobile Number and/or Email Address. Once you signup / register with uLektz, you’ll receive an One Time Password (OTP) to verify your mobile number and/or email address for verification.
Do I need to pay to signup or register with uLektz?
No. You can register with uLektz for free of cost. You don’t even need to provide any credit or debit card details. It is free to signup.
In which device or operating system, can I use uLektz?
You can access uLektz using uLektz Android App and Apple iOS app for online and offline access. You can also access uLektz using web browser from www.ulektz.com
Whom do uLektz offers its solutions?
Currently, uLektz offers solutions for (1) Higher Education Students (2) Colleges and Universities, and (3) Higher Education Publishers.
When I try to signup with uLektz using my email address, it says “This email already exists”. How can I signup?
From the error message “This email already exists”, it seems that you’re already registered with uLektz. Please use “Forgot Password” option provided in the login screen and provide your email address. The One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your email address to reset the password and login to your uLektz account.

Do I need to sign up separately to access each app of uLektz?
No. You need to signup with uLektz only once, and use the same login credentials to access all the apps and their resources.
I tried signing up with uLektz using my email address, but didn’t get the OTP.
Please check the SPAM or Junk folder of your mail account as the email with OTP might have landed there.
I tried signing up with uLektz using my mobile number, but didn’t get the OTP.
Please re-check the mobile number and try “Resend OTP”.
How do I change or reset my password?
By logging into your uLektz account, you change the password using Account Settings -> Change Password option provided in the left Menu. You can also reset your password using the “Forgot Password” option provided in the login screen.
What is uLektz Books?
By partnering with many leading and reputed educational publishers both in India and abroad, uLektz Books provides wide-range ebooks for various courses, subjects and examinations at very affordable low and discounted costs. These ebooks are accessible both online and offline i.e., without internet connectivity from any device such as Laptop, Desktop, Android Smartphone, Android Tablet, Apple iPhone or Apple iPad.
What are the types of eBooks offered by uLektz Books?
It offers eBooks, Question Papers, Course Syllabus and Lecture Notes.
What are eBooks?
eBooks are digital or electronic form of a book consisting of text, images and embedded videos. Generally, ebooks would cover a topic, unit or an entire course syllabus.
What are Question Papers?
These are PDF files containing important questions preferably questions from previous year/s examinations. Generally, Question Papers will have only questions without answers.
What are Syllabus?
These are PDF files containing syllabus for a specific course or subject offered by an institution/university. Generally, it will not provide content to cover the syllabus topics.
What is the file format of ebooks?
uLektz Books offers ebooks in PDF and ePUB file format.
How can I access the purchased ebooks?
You can access the purchased ebooks online from uLektz website by logging into your uLektz account or using the uLektz Reader apps for Android, iOS, Windows PC.
Can I access the purchased ebooks without internet connection?
Yes. You can access your purchased ebooks offline i.e., without internet connection using uLektz Reader apps for Android, iOS and Windows PC. However, you should have downloaded the purchased ebooks into these reader apps atleast once.
Can I download and share these ebooks with my friends?
No. The ebooks offered through uLektz Platform are DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected. So, you’ll not be able to share it with your friends.
Where can I find the ebook of my choice or need?
For the ease of search, our ebooks are categorised under appropriate sections on our website www.ulektzbooks.com. Just choose a section and click through to the ebook of your choice using our easy-to-use navigation, sorting and filtering options. You can also search for an ebook by title, author and university.
How do I buy an ebook?
Once you have found an ebook that you like, click on the "Buy Now" button. The ebook will be added to your cart. You can either continue shopping for other items or complete the checkout process after that. If you are not logged in, the system will prompt you to sign in at this point. If you do not have a registered account, you can create one right then and proceed to payment.
How do I make the payment for the ebooks that I intend to purchase?
You can make the payment online using any of the standard online payment methods such as Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. You can also make the payment using uLektz Cash that you have in your uLektz Wallet for uLektz published ebooks.
I’m unable purchase ebooks using my uLektz Cash?
Currently, uLektz Cash can be used to purchase the ebooks published by only uLektz.
What is Coupon?
Coupons are offered by the respective ebook publishers, which you can use to purchase ebooks instead of making payment.
I’ve purchased the ebook, but I don’t know how to access it.
After successful purchase of an ebook, you can find it in “My Books” (an option available in the left menu). Select the ebook and open it to access.

Can I print the ebook?
No. The ebooks offered through uLektz platform are designed to be read only through web-browsers or uLektz ebook reader apps. Thus, allowing you to read the ebooks anywhere, anytime and on any device without having to carry a lot of books around. However, if any publishers or ebook owners allow their users to print their ebooks, then you can find the print option within the ebook while accessing it online via web-browser.
What is My Wallet?
It shows the earnings and spendings/deductions of uLektz Cash and uLektz Points.
What is uLektz Cash and uLektz Points?
A user can earn certain amount of uLektz Points for various activities and transactions performed within the uLektz system. These uLektz points are converted into uLektz Cash at the rate of 5 uLektz Points is equal to 1 uLektz Cash.
How can I earn uLektz Points?
Once you signup and login to uLektz, you will be get 250 uLektz Points. Then, you can earn more uLektz points for the following activities/transactions:
- Profile Completion: 150 Points
- General Aptitude Test: 50 Points
- Verbal Ability Test: 50 Points
- Any Financial Transaction: 100 Points
- User Referral: 50 Points
- Per Day Activity: 10 Points
- No Usage or No Activity for 30 days: -50 Points
How and where can I use my uLektz Cash?
uLektz Cash can be used within the uLektz platform to pay for any resources or services directly offered by uLektz.
I am unable to purchase an ebook using my uLektz Cash.
Currently, uLektz Cash is limited to make payment for only uLektz published ebooks. The ebooks published by our partners cannot be purchased using uLektz Cash.
What is use of Share?
The Share is used to share and refer uLektz app to your friends and contacts through Whatsapp, email, sms, etc.
What is My Shopping Cart?
Any or all items that are about to be purchased within uLektz Platform can be added to “My Shopping Cart”. It is the storage of any items that you selected or wished to purchase.
What is My Orders?
It will list all the purchases and orders that you made through uLektz Platform. You can also get/download the invoice for the payments you made for the orders.
My Profile Strength shows incomplete. How can I improve my Profile Strength?
Fill and complete your profile to improve your Profile Strength.
What is the use of mock tests in General Aptitude and Verbal Ability in the Profile?
The mock tests will help you practice and improve your general aptitude and verbal ability skills. The highest score of these tests will reflect on your Profile, thus helping increase the changes for you to get better job opportunities.
What is Profile URL?
Every student and faculty registered with uLektz will get their own unique personal web URL. This URL will serve as the web address of your profile, which you can share with others. Example: ulektz.com/s/xxxxx
Can I customise and change my Profile URL?
Yes, you can edit and change the numeric part of your Profile URL.
Can I make my Profile URL private i.e., not visible to anyone?
Go to Profile page, click on “Gears Icon” on the top right for Profile Settings and check the option “Make my public profile visible to no one”.
I want to make certain sections of my Public Profile as Private i.e., not visible to any one in Public. How can I do that?
Go to Profile page, click on “Gears Icon” on the top right for Profile Settings, select the option “Make my public profile visible to everyone” and uncheck the sections of your profile that you don’t want to make public.
What is Download Resume?
The profile you filled-in can be downloaded as your professional CV/Resume, which you can use to apply for any job.
I could not find my institute/college in the Campus. What should I do?
You can find the colleges, universities and institutions registered with uLektz in Campus. If you are unable to find your college within Campus, then probably your college is not registered with uLektz. Please contact support@ulektz.com, so that we can look into the possibilities of registering your college as well.
I sent the request to join my institution but still not able to access my college resources.
Please contact your HOD or Principal for your request approval. You may alternatively contact support@ulektz.com.
I’ve joined some other institution by mistake. How can I exit from that college and join my college?
You can exit from the current college, by clicking on “Exit” button provided inside the About option in the Campus dashboard. After exiting from the current college, you can send join request to your college.
I’ve joined the my institution, but could not find any ebooks inside My Books.
Please check whether you’re added any specific class or not. You can send request to join a class by clicking on “View / Add Class” button provided at the bottom in My Books.
How can I exit from a class?
You can exit from a class by deleting it from “View / Add Class”.
What is E-Library?
This is a digital library of your college. You can choose the required ebooks and videos from this E-Library, and add them to “My Books” to access them.
What is My Books?
My Books will have:
- eBooks assigned by your college to you/your class
- eBooks added by you from E-Library
- eBooks purchased/subscribed by you personally from uLektz Books.
What is My Videos?
My Videos will have:
- Videos assigned by your college to you/your class
- Videos added by you from E-Library
- Videos purchased/subscribed by you personally from uLektz Books.
What is Calendar?
Any events, tasks and time-table created and assigned to you or your class by the faculty or your college will be shown in the Calendar. Using Calendar, you can also create personal tasks and events for yourself.
What is Message?
Any messages, updates or notifications sent to you or your class by the faculty or your college will be shown in the Messages.

If your college is registered with uLektz, then you may contact your Principal or the person who manages your college app to add you in the system as Faculty. Alternatively, please contact support@ulektz.com for support.
How can I know whether my college is registered with uLektz?
You may search for your college in uLektz Campus either by its name or location. If your college is listed then it is registered with uLektz. In case, your college is not listed then please contact support@ulektz.com for support.
What is E-Library?
This is a digital library of your college. You can choose the required ebooks and videos from this E-Library, and add them to “My Books” to access them.

My Books will have:

What is Calendar?
